Fanny Cäcilie Mendelssohn, later Fanny Hensel
(November 14, 1805 - May 14, 1847), was a pianist and composer of
Germany, sister of Felix Mendelssohn; both grandsons of the philosopher
Moses Mendelssohn. She is the first major songwriter in the world.
