Aigues Vives from Rheinbach (a town situated in the Rhineland) were
founded in 1971. Ten years later, in 1981, and after having changed
quite a lot their line-up they released their one and only LP "Water of
seasons" (EWP/Aarton Music S-135 LP). In “4001 Record Collector Dreams”
(Vienna 2003) by Hans Pokora it is graded appropriately with two units.
Their style of music is a kind of folk where you can find among other
instruments the flute, keyboards, and several guitars: acoustic,
instrumental, and as well the twelve-string one. Their lyrics are in
English, but some tracks are only electric. As a bonus you can find four
tracks which had been recorded for their second although unreleased LP.
Taken from the master tape. For people who like folk: please help
yourself! By the way, please don’t be disturbed by the French name: It’s
a German band. GOD
